Welcome To Metro Karunagaran - Mathematics - Tamilnadu Syllabus

Welcome to my Math classroom! Myself Karunagaran, a Vice Principal by Profession. Specialized in Mathematics, with over 24 years of experience in guiding students through the world of numbers. Through this blog, I will be both teaching and sharing study materials especially for students who are under the Tamilnadu State board. In this space, you'll find everything from clear explanations of complex concepts, lesson plans, Public exam preparation time plan, Weekly tests, One mark quiz accompanied with practice materials. 

Academic Foundations

Attracted by the beauty and complexity of numbers during school years evolved into a lifetime passion leading to pursue Masters in Mathematics from Anna University, Tamilnadu  followed by Masters in Education. 

The Teaching Journey

I started my journey as a Higher secondary teacher and after teaching for almost 23 years I was honored with a Vice Principal post in the year of 2023. Throughout my career I have taught a wide spectrum of mathematical topics guiding and encouraging students to think out of the box. I started a youtube channel in 2020 to teach both students and fellow teachers to master the subject with ease. This journey encouraged me to not only do the traditional classroom teaching but to integrate technology and modern teaching by utilizing online tools . 

I have worked with the Tamilnadu Education Department in conducting Board exams , preparing Question papers and Public exam paper corrections and leading exam centers across Tamilnadu. 

Achievements and Contributions

I have been awarded 20 times by the Tamilnadu Education Department for giving 100% results. In 2019 I was recognized by the State Government of Puducherry and was Honoured with The Best Teacher award for Mathematics. 

Apart from awards my students have excelled in mathematics and work as Engineers and Doctors and one of my Student works as a PhD Scholar at the most renowed Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai.
